Alessandro Del Pero
Alessandro Del Pero was born in 1979 in Bolzano, Italy. While doing his studies in architecture in Florence, Alessandro Del Pero became acquainted with students from the Accademia delle Belle Arti and these associations ignited a strong desire in him to paint. During this time, he started to appreciate the works of the Masters of Impressionism. After graduating, Del Pero worked as an Architect in Bolzano for two years. However, he could not ignore his calling for painting. He abandoned architecture and embarked on a journey of self-discovery – a journey of artistic realization that continues to grow each day.
Del Pero graduated from Facoltà di Architettura dell’Università di Firenze in 2005. As a painter, he has been the subject of solo and group exhibitions in Europe and United States. In 2015 the MARGS Museum of Art of Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre, Brazil dedicated Alessandro Del Pero a solo show called “O Atelier Como Autorretrato”. Alessandro Del Pero works and lives in New York City.
