Shalom Tomáš Neuman

Shalom Tomáš Neuman is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary artist whose work fuses painting, sculpture, installation, performance, digital media, sound, and light into a single sensory experience. Over five decades he has built an immersive practice that dissolves the divisions between creative disciplines.

Neuman founded Fusion Art — also known as Fusionism — a philosophical approach that unifies diverse media into one artistic language, joining traditional methods with emerging technology to produce environments that exceed the limits of any single medium.

Born in Prague in 1947, he spent his childhood in Israel before immigrating to the United States. He holds BFA and MFA degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and has taught at Parsons, Cooper Union, and Pratt.
